Please make sure the hair is at least 1/8-1/4 inch long so it can be easily treated. While you’re undergoing electrolysis, you cannot do any waxing or plucking in between appointments. You can shave or trim in between appointments, as long as you allow a few days of growth before your treatment.
It's also advisable to keep your skin moisturized and avoid using any retinoid creams 1 week before the session. If you use Accutane, you should wait at least 12 months before undergoing electrolysis.
